It’s not a lie. What I’m about to tell you now… is no lie.
For those of you who live in the West like me, the date still says April 1st. In other words, today (yesterday now) is still April Fools Day. And so as chance would have it, I present to you all a very fitting novel for such an occasion:
LiEat: The Lie-Eating Dragon and the Forgotten-Color Songstress is a novel which follows the story of a Lie-Eating Dragon and a Lie-Breathing Man…
I promise you, I really did not do this on purpose…
This is the prequel story to the game trilogy, LiEat. The events of which take place right after this novel.
The synopsis for the series as a whole is as follows:
LiEat is the classic story of a vagabond and his dragon protege traveling a curious world, buying and selling secrets, all the while trying to uncover the truth about themselves. Along the way, they’ll discover a web of hidden mysteries, meet a variety of colorful characters (including other dragons) and learn about the past events that brought them to where they are today.
The LiEat trilogy is available as a single game on Steam for $2.99 US and also free on vgperson’s blog (links are on the series page). And before you guys get any funny ideas, the version on vgperson’s blog is NOT A “PIRATED” VERSION. The original game is also free. In addition, all fan translations (in numerous languages) are recognized by the author, and in a sense, can be seen as its official translations. The only reason why the Steam version costs money is for author donation purposes.
TLDR: △○□× (Miwashiba) is both multi-talented (game developer, writer, illustrator) and awesome!
The translator, Lickymee, said he messed a part of the translation and is gone for work outside of the territory for some time. Until then Armaell will be holding off on making the EPUB.
